Our Yellow Labs are of the absolute best bloodlines that money can buy and that we could acquire. Our sire, "Cornerstone's Burnin' Blaze", Teal, (Link toTeal's pedigree) is out of "FC-AFC Rebel With A Cause" the Number 1 Yellow Lab in the nation, for the years of 1999, 2000, and 2001, plus other major accomplishments. Link's to Teal's sire and dam are on his Pedigree link.
We bought Teal from Chris Barnes of Byron Texas at eight weeks old and had him flown to Washington, about $1200 with shipping and all. Chris is heavy into "Hunt Test" retriever trials and is also an avid duck and goose hunter. Teal's Dam, "HRCH UH Cornerstone's Petros SH". is a hunt test competitor and has 2 AKC Master passes and was bred to "FC-AFC Rebel With a Cause", producing Teal. Our dams are Washington grown and come from hunters who raise an occasional litter but have bred with care of genetics and ability as well as companionship. We selected the dams as puppies by seeing what their parents were, how they looked, how they acted and their pedigree. We are raising the absolute best bred Yellow Labs in the Pacific Northwest. We guarantee our dogs to be free of all genetic and communicable diseases when they leave our kennel. We are not a puppy mill! We breed several good litters a year and they receive the best socialization a puppy can get. Our granddaughter and friends, myself, and my wife love puppies and they get lots of tender loving care. Our labs are great hunting dogs as well as exceptional companions and family dogs. We have a large list of very satisfied references from puppy owners from past litters. One puppy out of last summer's litter is a graduate from the drug enforcement program and is working in the lower Yakima Valley. An excellent nose and superior intelligence are needed to graduate. We are very proud of all of our dogs and their contributions to family, community service and hunting partners. When you buy a puppy or started dog from Arlington Kennels you can be confident that you have purchased the absolute BEST. You can pay more and you can pay less but you cannot buy better! | I have attached 4 pictures of Burning September Simmerdown (Sep), the last male lab pup you had in September of this year. I want to say thank you for bring a part that we had lost back into our lives. It was tuff at first when I brought Sep home. He was so full of himself. Hard headed but would try to please. He is a very strong and full of life. We were not going to hunt this year because of our loss, but Sep has brought life back. Sep started to grab things and carry them from his first day with us. Within a week, he was out by the pond and pulling leaves and twigs out. By October he was on the scent of passing quail. So anyway, training began just for the fun of his interest. Next thing you know we are out in the field and the riverside ponds and inlets. Sep has never stopped or even slowed down. He is VERY aggressive in thick brush and slow water or ponds. I wish I would have taken my camera sooner so you could see him on the ducks. These pictures are from Sunday December 2nd down in the valley in a free hunt area. We got a late start so we didn't hunt any ducks but got a lot of quail and pheasant up. Sep used his little nose all day and brought back 4 quail and 2 large pheasant males. In October, at 3 months of age, Sep went out on his first hunt bringing in 3 teal, 2 wood and 2 green heads. This small pup swam in side waters of the Yakima and brought them back like he had been doing this all his life. We have gone out every weekend since. Sep is a baby and doing better than some adult dogs that have hunted for years. He has much to learn but what a start! Thank you Jerry and Claudia! Dan and Claudia Volland | |
